I got a job in Australia!

"As soon as I arrived in Sydney, I attended the Job Information Day seminar at Information Planet's city office to understand more about the labor market in Australia. .

I enrolled in the WAS program, and on the next day, I got an interview at the Brazuca restaurant in Manly. A Service Department staff was there to help us with some tips and I got the job straight away! I liked so much the work environment that I decided to move to Manly.

I used to work with functions and casual jobs. Now, with this part time job, I got my financial stability, made great friends and my quality of life improved considerably."

"In the course of my life I learned to value the power of a simple smile and consideration.

Changing to a country so far from our house can be, at the beginning, something extremely exciting and challenging. But after a few months you can feel a bit homesick and start to question your decision, mostly because you don't know anyone you can really count on.

And who said that in the middle of all these feelings a great surprise can't happen? I had the pleasure to know Information Planet during that period. And all that feeling of being far away and sometimes lost was over.

I came to study English and after eight months of General English, I undertook the IELTS and scored 6.5 which it was enough to be accepted at Uni.

I travel a lot!

"In Australia, I have been to Cairns, Gold Coast, Byron Bay and Melbourne, but amongst all the places I have been to, Noosa Heads and Fraser Island were by far the most beautiful. The ocean is amazingly blue and people are extremely friendly.

I also have traveled to Japan where I could feel a strong culture shock. Everything is so different and beautiful in the same time. I have never thought I would go far away to Japan and being here in Australia gives you the opportunity of discovering a new world!
