Business English

What is it?

Business English courses are focused on preparing students to use their language skills in a business environment. It teaches business vocabulary, financial terms, and formal speaking and writing skills.

Above more general skills you will learn necessary vocabulary, and special terms. These courses are designed for students who are interested in further study of business either in English, or who would like continue with Business courses at colleges and universities in their own country. These courses will generally help students with better understanding of the language of the business world.

Do I have to study it separately?

At some schools, the Business English course is taught with General English. Some schools have separate Business English classes to help students prepare and study for the Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC) exams.
